Latino Community Foundation Hosts Virtual Town Hall: 100 Days of Latino Resilience

Community Leaders Across the Nation Share Stories of Strength, Innovation, and Unity

Latino Community Foundation (LCF):

WHAT: The Latino Community Foundation (LCF) is hosting a virtual Latino Power Fund Town Hall: Resilience in Action — a powerful national conversation featuring five inspiring nonprofit leaders from across the country. They will reflect on the first 100 days of the new administration and spotlight the grassroots resilience rising from Latino communities.

Through stories of compassion, strength, innovation, and fierce determination, these leaders will share how they are informing, uplifting, and supporting our communities amid federal rollbacks and harmful rhetoric. Together, we will explore real-time strategies for resilience and highlight how grassroots organizations are keeping our families empowered through turbulent times.

This Town Hall is part of LCF’s broader campaign:

100 Days of Latino Resilience: Power in Community

A week-long series (April 26 – May 2) amplifying Latino voices and priorities through virtual gatherings, powerful storytelling, and bold calls to action for justice and equity.

WHEN: Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET

WHERE: Register here: https://streamyard.com/watch/b28P8R7KkEUw

WHO: Moderated by Julián Castro, CEO of the Latino Community Foundation. Featured speakers include leaders from LCF’s Latino Power Fund Grantees:

WHY: In the first 100 days of the new administration, Latino communities have been targeted, scapegoated, and deliberately excluded from national priorities. Harmful rhetoric and policy rollbacks continue to threaten immigrant families and working communities across the country.

In response, the Latino Community Foundation is lifting up the voices of grassroots leaders who are organizing, protecting, and empowering our communities in real time.

This Town Hall will highlight their leadership and resilience — and make one thing clear:

Latinos are not backing down.

We are leading with resilience, unity, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
