Ms. Johansen’s new book centers upon a fourteen-year-old protagonist called Lilli Park, a young born-again Christian living in a small rural town called Skyport who disappears one day; a disappearance that causes ripples throughout the close-knit town, a safe and welcoming place where nothing bad happens.
With some residents looking to the sky in the famous UFO town, believing that she has been abducted by aliens, some of the town’s Christian residents are looking up for other reasons and wondering what God’s connection is to the story of Lilli.
With plenty of twists and turns, and a heartwarming host of central characters, Ms. Johansen has written this, as Wordsmith World calls it, ‘cozy mystery’ to both engage and entertain young tween and teen readers and to get them to think about God’s power and the importance of having faith.
